Before beginning flight
Before beginning flight lessons, I visited five different schools between MacArthur (Islip) and Republic Airports. The minute I met David, I knew that Long Island Flying was the place for me!
I will tell you exactly what I've told EVERYONE who has ever asked me about taking lessons. You are going to be spending a LOT of time with your instructor so be SURE that it's someone that you like to be with. The instructors at Long Island Flying are definitely guys you'd want to hang out with! They also just happen to be first-rate pilots and extremely knowledgeable instructors. They strive to make your experience both educational AND tremendously fun!!
I would HIGHLY recommend Long Island Flying to any and EVERY person who asks me! If you're looking to learn to fly, give David a call and sign up for an intro flight. I KNOW that you'll be sold in the first ten minutes - just as I was!
